Our story begins with our owner, Levi Page, who first gained hands-on tree work experience while helping his father-in-law in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. That experience introduced him to the challenges of removing damaged trees and addressing difficult property conditions. His journey later included military service and periods working outside the tree care industry, giving him a background shaped by different responsibilities and experiences.
In July 2020, Levi started Open Canopy Tree Service with a clear vision for how customers should be treated. He wanted to build a business where homeowners feel heard, understand the work being performed, and know that their concerns matter.
Today, we provide tree removal, land clearing, storm damage cleanup, tree trimming and pruning, and stump grinding and removal for residential properties.
As a licensed and insured tree service company, we approach each project by reviewing the property's conditions, discussing the customer's goals, and explaining the planned work before getting started.
